Accounts
We’ve taken great care to match your current accounts to First Bank
accounts that offer similar features and benefits. As you look through your welcome catalog, you may find another account that better suits your needs. If you do, please visit one of our branches after conversion, and we’ll make it
easy to switch to the First Bank account that’s right for you.

Please note - Your account numbers will NOT change.
A Special note about FDIC Insurance:
If you maintain deposits at both First Bank and Malvern Bank: The standard insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. With the merger, First Bank and Malvern Bank will become one bank for the purposes of calculating limits on deposit insurance. However, the FDIC has a special rule that states that when the deposit accounts of one bank are acquired by another bank, the newly acquired deposits are separately insured from any accounts a depositor may already have at the acquiring bank (First Bank) for an initial period of six months after a merger. The Acquisition of Malvern Bancorp Inc was completed on July 17, 2023. This grace period is intended to give depositors an opportunity to restructure their accounts if the merger causes a depositor to have funds in excess of the insurance limits at the acquiring bank (First Bank). The grace period may be applied differently for time and non-time deposits (CDs). For further information on FDIC coverage, visit fdic.gov/deposit.

Cash Management
Business customers who currently have cash management services (Remote Deposit, Positive Pay, ACH, and Online Wires) have been assigned a dedicated banker to ensure a smooth transition. If you have not yet been contacted by a First Bank banker about your business, please
email CMsupport@firstbanknj.com
