ATM & Debit Card Information
  • First Bank ATM/Debit cards were mailed out on 11/16.
  • You will receive a new First Bank ATM/Debit card that you can activate at any time after receipt. The card will come with instructions on how to select a PIN.
    • You are able to choose the same PIN you've been using  with your OceanFirst ATM/Debit card.
  • Your OceanFirst ATM/Debit card will stop working  on Thursday 12/2.
  • Your new First Bank ATM/Debit card will begin working Thursday 12/2. Your withdrawal and POS limits may be different than normal over the weekend as we transition your OceanFirst accounts to First Bank.
  • With your new First Bank ATM/Debit card, starting Thursday 12/2, you will have access to the Allpoint Network of ATMs. Enjoy surcharge-free cash withdrawals and balance inquiries at First Bank ATMs and over 55,000 ATMs that are part of the Allpoint Network.
  • ATMs at the OceanFirst Flemington and Monroe branches will be unavailable starting Wednesday 12/1 around 1:00 p.m. through the tranistion weekend.
  • ATMs at the Flemington and Monroe branches will operate as First Bank ATMs beginning Monday 12/6. 
  • Remember, once you begin using your First Bank Debit Card on 12/2, you will have surcharge-free access  to First Bank ATMs and over 55,000 ATMs on the Allpoint Network.
Branches & Other Information
  • The Flemington and Monroe OceanFirst branches will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 12/3 as we begin transitioning them to First Bank.
  • Once these branches close on Friday, you will NOT be able to transact on your accounts held at these branches in other OceanFirst locations. 
    • You will also NOT be able to bank at the First Bank branches (yet!)
  • On Monday, 12/6, your Flemington and Monroe branches will reopen as First Bank branches at their normal business hours with the same people you counted on for great service before!

  • Personal banking customers - You will receive a complimentary set of checks from Deluxe in the mail. If you normally purchase checks through another vendor, please contact a First Bank branch for a check specification sheet.
  • Business banking customers - You will receive a discount voucher to use towards your next order of checks from Deluxe.

Online Banking
  • Online banking customers need to re-enroll for First Bank Online Banking starting Monday 12/6. 
  • Please visit our Welcome Online & Mobile page for screenshots and video overviews of Online & Mobile banking.
  • You will need to complete a final download of your Quicken or Quickbooks transaction history from OceanFirst's Online Banking before 5:00 p.m. on Friday 12/3.
  • You will be able to enroll in First Bank Online Banking and reconnect your Quicken or Quickbooks after 5:00 p.m. on Monday 12/6.
  • Visit our Quickbooks Help section
  • You will receive a paper statement from OceanFirst for November, regardless of whether you had been receiving paper or eStatements before.
  • In order to transition your accounts to First Bank, you will receive a final paper statement from OceanFirst on 12/3, which will reflect your transactions for the first 3 days of December.
  • The next statement you will receive will be from First Bank. Please note that your statement cycle with First Bank many be different from what you were used to with OceanFirst. 
  • If you would like to sign up for eStatements from First Bank, you must first enroll in Online Banking and agree to receive eStatements once logged in.
  • If you would like assistance with reading your new statements or would like information on the statement cycles of your accounts with First Bank, please contact your local branch of call 866.866.5048.

Telephone Banking
  • Telephone Banking for your  OceanFirst Flemington and Monroe branch accounts will no longer be available during transition weekend.
  • First Bank's Telephone Banking will be available for your use beginning Monday 12/6. First Bank's Telephone Banking number is 866-541-2426.
Treasury Management Customers
  • Treasury Management Business Online customers will have full access to their online banking until 6:00 p.m. on Friday 12/3.
    • After 6:00 p.m., the accounts will be in Inquiry-Only mode through the transition weekend
    • On the evening of Monday 12/6, access to Treasury Management Business Online Banking will be disabled.  Friday 12/3 is the last day Bill Payments will be sent. Any payments scheduled for after 12/3 will not be processed and will need to be set up new on First Bank's Business Online Banking.
  • Prior to transition, you will receive a secure communication from First Bank Electronic Banking with your First Bank Business Online credentials.
  • Our Commercial Deposits team will reach out to you ahead of the transition with your unique business plan.
